So I got to thinking as I was playing on my computer instead of doing homework that I need to get a grip.
This is largely coming from a recent gain in weight and loss of muscle that makes me loathe myself ( since I was able to run 8 miles in an hour since the age of 14 and now struggle to do 4-6).
I realised that I prioritise school over fitness, which makes sense to me since I need to get an A in 6 out of 8 exams next year to do the college course I want (the Irish school system is derpy and annoying).
That doesn’t bother me as much though as the fact that I prioritise the Internet and occasionally TV over school. As what feels like a necessary release from the pressure I’m putting myself under in school, which largely comes from procrastinating on the web!
So I’m deciding to take a break from the Internet, apps, TV etc. for a month and if things get better I’ll stay off until the end of school in 7 weeks time. If there’s no difference or I lack will power you’ll see me back in about 3 weeks or a month.
